Even doses of C-Span relief aren't enough to erase this sense of obsession the media has with the subjects. I could add the global credit debacles there on the list too.
These are energy draining and usually do not offer anything new and many times inaccuracies get stuck like barnacles, and just as difficult to detach from proper attention to just the facts.
Time to use the off button more frequently, there is a good music channel featuring light classical that I use for an antidote.
